International Badge Day 2014

I proudly wear my badge today for International Badge Day 2014 and celebrate with my Greek brothers and sisters!

My Kappa Delta Sorority badge symbolizes many things, but most of all it symbolizes family. I am lucky enough to have my Nana’s badge (Sigma Gamma – Kansas State) and it is most often the badge I choose to wear. Not only is it gorgeous, but it gives an even bigger meaning to wearing my letters on my heart. I also share my Kappa Delta sisterhood with my aunt Susie (Beta Chi – UNC Chapel Hill) and my mom (Epsilon Epsilon – Appalachian State). My badge symbolizes my blood family and the family I gained through sisterhood. I do not know where I would be without the support of my Ladybug family.

My Kappa Delta badge symbolizes new beginnings. It represents the beginning of the Eta Upsilon Chapter at NC State. The founding of this chapter resulted in the founding of many more events and traditions. My badge also represents challenge, change, tradition, and success. Kappa Delta has helped me achieve many goals and dreams, supported my finances with a graduate scholarship, all while setting me up for future success.
